Fornication Under Consent of the King
Come across this piece of joke, don't really know how true it is, anyway just for a laugh...
In ancient England, people could not have sex without consent from the King. When people wanted to have a child, they had to solicit a permission to the monarchy, in turn they would supply a plaque to hang on their door when they had sexual relations.
The plaque read … "Fornication Under Consent of the King" (F.U.C.K.).
This is the origin of the word, agree? :pLabels: personal
Salary Theorem
We see a hefty raise of government servant salary pay, most people might couldn't balance him/herself when think about it, salary increment never go hand-in-hand to the inflation. "When is my pay rise?!" in the thought of most engineers out there, enjoy following fact...Everyone knows the Salary Theorem establishes that engineers and scientists can NEVER EVER earn as much money as businessman, salesmen, politicians and actors easily make.This theorem can be demonstrated by reducing it to a simple mathematical equation:
The equation rests on 2 postulates:
Postulate No.1:
Knowledge is Power
Postulate No.2:
Time is Money
Given that:
Power = Work / Time
Therefore we have:
Knowledge = Work / Money
or easily obtain:
Money = Work / Knowledge
So when Knowledge goes towards zero, Money goes towards infinity, regardless of the value attributed to work, even if the value of work is small. On the contrary, when Knowledge goes towards Infinity, Money goes towards Zero, even if the value of Work is High.
The evident conclusion:
The less you know, the more money you definitely make!

Water Rafting
I just came back from an awesome vacation 6D4N, expedition to be exact. We had organized an expedition team to conquer Mount Kinabalu recently. It's actually quite an odd team with mixed of colleagues from many departments, however we went through an enjoyable trip, everyone had good fun. Luckily my planning going well but with little flaw however. We arrived there by Saturday night, taking rest for "battle" the next day. First day everyone enjoy the shopping and lepak around. Second day we missed the Padas water rafting because the train track of 100+ years old steam train broke down on previous day, unlucky us to opt for Kiulu Grade 1-2 rafting instead. To be Ah-Q, we still have better luck than those 300+ passengers stucked at that heaty slow train travelled a day before, we only knew this news after read the newspaper. However, Kiulu still being fun to me because enjoyed a lots of drift swimming, quite exhausted too.

Mount Kinabalu
Our main objective is to climb Mount Kinabalu arranged on last 2-days so that we are not too tired for other activities. Mount Kinabalu always being attractive to me even when I was at very young age. My dream to get to summit of Mount Kinabalu come true after 20+ years, a bit embarass to tell actually. :p We took new route to go up Mesilau trail and come down Timpohon Gate. A wise choice so that we can get 2 certs. Old route taking 6km to reach Laban Rata but Mesilau trail added another 2km. That 2km really torturing going up-down. Climbed from 9am and reach at 4.30pm, the trail seem never get to the end. After eating our dinner buffet at rest house there. The meal really expensive RM33 but no many choices. Even normal fried rice cost RM15. I ate the most expensive instant noodle there the next day, paid RM8.50 for Maggi come with a raw egg. We stay at Gunting Lagadan Hut for 1 night, at 3000m++ above sea level, the temperature around 10 degree at night time. The problem is the freezing water like ice water, hardly taking shower, just doing simple wash-up already drive us to crazy. Slept not very well, 8pm to 1.45am never a good sleeping time for me. Waked up early morning and prepare to conquer the summit at early 2.45am. The trail taking 3km, but it really far far way to us. The journey is not easy, need to go up grabbing the rope, or clawing etc. The air is thin, pretty hard to breath, sound like cow, plus the heart pumping hard and fast seem coming out anytime. The mentality taking the main role to reach to summit, I kept telling myself sure I can do it, and I did. Reaching peak around 5.30am, even though the first dawn already appeared 1/2 hour earlier, but the scene really awesome. The feeling like stepping on top of the world with the cloud beneath. All sweat and hard work paid off. The most touching moment is to know that all of us reaching the top even some injured or weaker gal. The magnificent photos are here...Labels: personal
